SUMMARY:Project ENRICH – English Reading and Comprehension Improvement for Higher Achievement
DESCRIPTION:Operating under Outcome 4 (Improved Education Quality through Upgraded Curriculum\, Modernized Assessment\, and Digitally Enabled Schools)\, Project ENRICH addresses low English proficiency among Key Stage 2 learners. Baseline data reveals that only 72.90% of learners achieved proficiency in the National Achievement Test (NAT) in English. Root causes include limited mastery of foundational English literacy\, reading comprehension gaps\, vocabulary deficits\, and a lack of contextualized learning resources. The primary goal is to increase the percentage of learners demonstrating proficiency in the English NAT to at least 85% by the end of SY 2026–2027. Key activities include administering oral reading assessments alongside Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA) and Phil-IRI pretests and posttests; reproducing specialized\, contextualized Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) focused on comprehension skills; and conducting weekly program launches\, word wall displays\, classroom reading integration\, and wrap-up sessions. The project is managed by the School Head\, Teachers\, Subject Coordinators\, Reading Coordinator\, and Parents. It operates on a total budget of ₱15\,000.00 (₱5\,000 for assessments via MOOE\, ₱5\,000 for LAS reproduction via MOOE\, and ₱5\,000 for launches/materials via Donations).

SUMMARY:BASA PARA SA KARUNUNGAN ("Bawat Bata\, Bumabasa Tungo sa Karunungan!")
DESCRIPTION:Under Outcome 4\, this literacy intervention targets the complete elimination of struggling readers across Key Stages 1 and 2. Baseline data recorded 22 “readers-at-risk” performing at the frustration reading level. Root causes involve a lack of localized and contextualized reading materials combined with insufficient structured reading support at home. \nThe project objective is to reduce the number of readers-at-risk from 22 in 2026 to 0 by March 2027. Implementation steps include administering Phil-IRI pretests\, posttests\, and oral reading assessments. Teachers will conduct intensive remedial reading instruction via the “Bawat Bata Bumabasa” and “Adopt-a-Struggling Reader” programs. \nThe project enforces daily functional DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time\, “A Word a Day”\, and “Teach One Each One” peer tutoring. The team will establish and maintain Reading Resorts\, Knowledge Corners\, and Proyektong TIPANANG Panliterasi (PTP)\, reproduce specialized contextualized LAS\, and roll out the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program. \nSpearheaded by the School Head\, Teachers\, Subject Coordinators\, Reading Coordinator\, and Parents. The project carries a total budget of ₱60\,000.00\, with ₱20\,000 sourced from MOOE and ₱40\,000 sourced from Donations.
