Operating under Outcome 4 (Improved Education Quality through Upgraded Curriculum, Modernized Assessment, and Digitally Enabled Schools), Project ENRICH addresses low English proficiency among Key Stage 2 learners. Baseline data reveals that only 72.90% of learners achieved proficiency in the National Achievement Test (NAT) in English. Root causes include limited mastery of foundational English literacy, reading comprehension gaps, vocabulary deficits, and a lack of contextualized learning resources. The primary goal is to increase the percentage of learners demonstrating proficiency in the English NAT to at least 85% by the end of SY 2026–2027. Key activities include administering oral reading assessments alongside Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA) and Phil-IRI pretests and posttests; reproducing specialized, contextualized Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) focused on comprehension skills; and conducting weekly program launches, word wall displays, classroom reading integration, and wrap-up sessions. The project is managed by the School Head, Teachers, Subject Coordinators, Reading Coordinator, and Parents. It operates on a total budget of ₱15,000.00 (₱5,000 for assessments via MOOE, ₱5,000 for LAS reproduction via MOOE, and ₱5,000 for launches/materials via Donations).
