In a vibrant showcase of gratitude, environmental stewardship, and academic unity, Sacuyya Elementary School (SES) joined the nation in celebrating National Teachers’ Month, honoring the dedication, service, and excellence of its hardworking teaching force.
The month-long tribute culminated in a grand school program that brought together teachers, school leaders, local officials, and parent-community partners to applaud the educators who serve as the foundation of the institution.
Honoring the Heart of the Classroom
The celebration commenced with a heartfelt tribute to all SES faculty members. Each teacher was formally presented with a Certificate of Appreciation alongside personalized tokens of gratitude—a sincere gesture from the school community recognizing their tireless commitment to nurturing every learner despite daily challenges.
Throughout the program, pupils expressed their deep appreciation through musical numbers, handwritten thank-you notes, and creative performances, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, smiles, and fond memories.
Celebrating Excellence in Flagship Green Initiatives
Beyond classroom instruction, Sacuyya Elementary School highlighted its commitment to environmental sustainability and conducive learning environments through two flagship competitions: the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) and the School Landscaping Contest 2026.
These programs aim to promote food security, agricultural awareness, organic farming, and ecological cleanliness across all grade-level classrooms. Following rigorous evaluation by an external panel, the outstanding implementers and transformed learning spaces were officially announced:
Gratitude to the Board of Judges & Community Partners
Sacuyya Elementary School extends its deepest appreciation to the distinguished Board of Judges, who conducted thorough ocular inspections and evaluated each entry based on sustainability, creativity, cleanliness, and overall impact:

Hon. Brgy. Capt. Ma. Leilanie C. Sabalburo — Barangay Captain

Special recognition was also given to the driving forces behind the event’s success. The active leadership of Mrs. Elvira B. Rabe (School Governance Council Co-Chairperson) and Mrs. Shirley V. Bragado (School Parents-Teachers Association President) was instrumental in mobilizing parent volunteers, securing event resources, and spearheading the flagship activities hand-in-hand with the faculty.
The entire school community expressed immense gratitude to Mrs. Delia S. De Peralta, Teacher-in-Charge, whose constant motivation, visionary guidance, and relentless encouragement inspired both teachers and parents to go above and beyond for the school’s physical and academic growth.
A Shared Vision for a Sustainable Future
The National Teachers’ Month celebration at Sacuyya Elementary School concluded with enthusiastic cheers, photo opportunities, and a renewed sense of inspiration. The event not only honored the selfless dedication of educators but also reaffirmed SES’s commitment to building a vibrant, green, safe, and learner-friendly school community where every child can thrive.
